In May 2024, euroAWK launched bilbordovka.sk, an e-shop for renting corporate billboards and citylights. It is intended primarily for clients interested in leasing euroAWK-owned advertising space.
bilbordovka.sk makes it easier for anyone looking to advertise outdoors to browse our advertising surfaces across Slovakia and place orders while offering the arrangement of poster printing or, where necessary, the preparation of graphic materials.
If your selected advertising surface is not available when you request it, information will be provided about the next available date, or you can search for another available surface in the vicinity.
The e-shop makes euroAWK’s services accessible to a broader circle of potential clients looking into outdoor advertising.
In May, passengers riding Prešov’s public transport noticed a new addition. New, innovatively designed shelters at stops with an emphasis on ecology are enhancing the travel experience. euroAWK has installed four citylights and next‑generation shelters in Prešov, making it the first city in Slovakia to receive them.
Prešov is the first city to provide euroAWK with the opportunity to introduce the newest generation of street furniture and advertising structures. Like in many other sectors, recent years have brought a strong focus on innovative solutions in urban furniture and advertising media. euroAWK saw Prešov as an opportunity to introduce something new, developed in cooperation with world‑class designers.
The supplier that designed and delivered the shelters and advertising structures in Prešov has a track record of successful collaborations in Asian countries such as Qatar, as well as in cities in Germany, Italy, and Croatia. What was requested from euroAWK’s partner, who has been actively building urban furniture for nearly 50 years, was clear – to create shelters that offer a comfortable waiting area for public transport riders whose designs remain fresh, modern, and timeless.
Benches and leaning rails made from tropical hardwood have augmented passenger comfort. Because damage to shelters, benches, and even buildings is unfortunately not uncommon, a key requirement was durability against vandalism. Solid steel, extruded aluminum, and safety glass up to 10 millimeters thick are intended to prevent ordinary vandalism.
The new shelters and advertising structures will also be significantly more environmentally friendly. Illuminated advertising panels and shelters are not merely decorative during the night. They protect against vandalism, and the shelters primarily provide more safety to passengers waiting inside them. These new Prešov shelters consume several times less electricity than standard types—only 18 watts.
euroAWK also plans to offer personalized, modern urban‑furniture solutions in other cities across Slovakia. The design of these shelters, as well as their advertising surfaces, responds to evolving expectations about the quality of public space, which is why they continue to have their place in major world cities, provided they meet modern standards.
